My friend Dawn is really big into vintage stuff. Her house is amazing. She has been going to yard sales for 20 of her 35 years and has a wonderful assortment of great stuff.

I tried to go with her one time. Initially I thought it would be fun and exciting and I too would fill my house with interesting nostalgia. After a full Saturday of looking at other people's crap I realized that this exercise was futile. That it really does take 10 years to find all of the good stuff.

I think vintage dresses are the same way. Unfortunately a bride usually has little time to find a wedding gown. The bridesmaids dresses are an afterthought. Here is the perfect example.
